Intrepid does it again! My visit to Albania was magical. The sourcing and selection of experiences have left me with indelible memories. The stay in Marjana's farm, visits to Mrizi i Zanave, Karavasta NP, Tragjas and Berat left me speechless. Kudos Interpid - my go to for adventure travel.

This is a great trip and a fabulously interesting country with, I hope, an increasingly bright future. I liked that we got to enjoy out of the way places as well as the more touristy parts. I stayed extra days in Tirana and highly recommend that. I’d love to go back and see more of the wilderness.

Mita   -  Traveled, May 2024

We had a lovely group and a professional and informative tour leader, Elton. This is a very busy and active itinerary with not much free time so be prepared! There were some inconsistencies with timings and activites compared to the itinerary. I would absolutely recommend bringing hiking boots (plus mosquito spray and anti-histamines!) as the hikes were more challenging than expected. The food everywhere is excellent and plentiful, and sometimes this felt more like a food tour! I particularly enjoyed Marjana's farm stay and the "agrotourism" Mrizi I Zanave farm. Lots of beautiful scenery. 2 days in Tirana was sufficient to get a feel for the city and for its history. Overall this is a great trip to explore Albania.

Great mix of itinerary and can provide a general introduction to what the country has to offer. My favorite destinations were Shala River (including the accommodation where we stayed) and Mrizi i Zanave farm stay. Our trip ended when Albania faced Italy in the Euro Cup, a perfect cherry on top.
