Sara O   -  Traveled, October 2023

The hotels were very good, and to a good standard. The home-stays were also great and allowed us to experience the culture. I would say the hotel in Gombak, Malaysia really needs to be upgraded as my friend found a rat/mouse crawling in her bed at night which is completely unacceptable. The homestay in chenderoh lake was really good but again the netting in the bedrooms need to be up to standard and improved as two people on the tour caught Dengue fever and better netting may have prevented it. It would be a 10 but some of the hotel standards as mentioned above could be improved.

This is a fast paced tour that covers a lot of different countries, adventures and cultures. This tour provides travellers with a flavour of 3 different countries. The tour provided a nice mix of city and country experiences. G Adventures also supports some local community projects which was nice to see. I would highly recommend G Adventures as an amazing tour to meet similar minded solo travellers while also seeing new places and experiencing new things. One can definitely make friends for life through this tour!

I really enjoy travelling with G Adventures, because I can travel whenever I want and I like that there is a lot to see in a tight time frame. Also I like the people i travel with and the activities. I would give more than 8 because I think it is a bit expensive and often you have to pay extra for a lot of activities. Also I personally would prefer to have more dorm rooms and simpler accommodation in order to have cheaper overall costs for the trip (overall trip fee).

It is a great way to travel but it is exhausting. The bus journeys are sooo long and you are exhausted for the rest of the day. I was also one of a few single travellers, the group on the second half of my tour had 5 couples which i did not like.
