This is one of the world’s most celebrated scenic drives and with every detail taken care of, all that’s left is for you to do is kick back and enjoy the beautiful views. Your journey along the scenic Great Ocean Road traverses World Heritage listed rainforest, and skirts untouched coastal coves. Stop at the Mediterranean-inspired, quaint seaside villages. In Apollo Bay, a tranquil seaside retreat that welcomes Southern-right whales to its shores from winter to spring, watch as the boats come into the harbour. Visit the limestone Twelve Apostles, Loch Ard Gorge and London Bridge before arriving in Warrnambool, the whaling capital. At the end of this highlight day, join your Travel Director and fellow travellers for dinner.

Meals: Dinner
Explore the UNESCO-listed Budj Bim Cultural Landscape on a MAKE TRAVEL MATTER® Experience at Tae Rak (Lake Condah). Walk with a Local Specialist and learn how the Gunditjmara people built one of the world’s oldest aquaculture systems, using volcanic rock to trap and harvest eel. Cross into South Australia to see the striking Blue Lake in Mount Gambier, a crater lake known for its vivid seasonal colour. Then it’s time to taste the cool-climate reds of the Coonawarra wine region. Cap off the day with a visit to Naracoorte’s Alexandra Cave, where you’ll weave through an underground labyrinth of stalactites, stalagmites and ancient limestone columns.
Accommodation: William MacIntosh Motor Lodge
Meals: Breakfast, Dinner
Ease into the laidback lifestyle encouraged by the locals of South Australia's Fleurieu Peninsula and visit Victor Harbor at lunchtime. Delve into the town’s reputation for being heaven for foodies as you enjoy lunch on your own at one of its favourite restaurants. This afternoon, board your ferry at Cape Jervis and cross to Kangaroo Island, where pristine beaches and abundant wildlife wait to be discovered. It deserves its moniker, as you’ll discover tomorrow, but for the rest of the day, all you need to do is relax at your hotel in Kingscote, or perhaps take a stroll along the picturesque waters edge.
Accommodation: Aurora Ozone
Meals: Breakfast, Dinner
Begin your day at Seal Bay Conservation Park, where Kangaroo Island’s remarkable wildlife greets you along the sweeping shoreline. During this meaningful MAKE TRAVEL MATTER® Experience, you’ll visit one of Australia’s most important sea lion breeding sites and learn about a species with a population of only around 12,000 worldwide, including roughly 800 that live here at Seal Bay. As you join your guide along the beach, you may witness enormous sea lions powering down the sand toward the water, offering an unforgettable display of their size and character. Your journey continues across the island to its dramatic coastline, where the striking, orange‑lichen‑covered Remarkable Rocks rise majestically above the brilliant blue of the Southern Ocean. These naturally sculpted formations command attention and showcase the island’s extraordinary geological beauty. Nearby, Admirals Arch awaits - an impressive natural rock bridge sheltering a bustling colony of fur seals, with a photogenic lighthouse providing a scenic backdrop. Finish the day by unwinding at Kangaroo Island’s only boutique brewery. Here, you’ll enjoy a tasting of locally crafted beers and take in the relaxed atmosphere. How does a crisp Pale Ale sound as the perfect end to your island adventure?

This morning, explore Kangaroo Island’s heritage with a guided tour of one of Australia’s only vertical wool mills, where a 360‑degree igloo dome immerses you in the sights and sounds of a working shearing shed. Continue to South Australia’s only eucalyptus distillery to learn how this pure, aromatic oil is produced and keep an eye out for roaming kangaroos and emus as you wander the estate. Afterwards, travel to South Australia’s oldest operational lighthouse for sweeping coastal views before departing the island and arriving in Adelaide, a city renowned for its historic churches and exceptional culinary scene.

Guide was very informative and friendly. Coach was comfortable. Shame the tv was not working to be able to watch a movie. It was too rushed. There was not enough time to explore Great Ocean Road. An overnight on the Great Ocean Road Apollo Bay, Lorne or somewhere would have been nice. Hotel accommodation and food was excellent. Just not enough free time for exploring and shopping.

Service was great. All in all it was great. The only thing I would say is that the first winery we went to wasn't all that good. A different one might be a better choice or something else entirely. The points of interest we saw were amazing. The ride was comfortable. The food was delicious. The tour guide was great and so was our driver.

I thought the motels where not up to my standers. When you walk in and there is a can of bug spray is not reassuring. Very out dated rooms.

Great travel guide and yes I would travel again. Great itineraries and 5 star rooms and food. Great Itinerary but trip was too rushed perhaps a few more days in length would have allowed a longer experience on the great ocean road rather than take shortcuts away from the ocean to meet next location. A few days filled with only photo ops and comfort and lunch stops.

Listened to any issues and solved quickly. Food preferences were accommodated whenever possible. Good and sometimes unique hotels in some small locations. Coach was comfortable and clean. Always a lot to see in a day and sometimes many miles to cover.

Would have received 5 stars except for the forced seat rotation that prevented parties of more than 2 from sitting together. In addition, the first day of the tour a few couples were not able to sit together because single travelers decided to alone instead of pairing up. The tour director did correct this on the second day. For the most part this trip was amazing, however, we had a few issues. 1. Trafalger & AAT Kings has a seat rotation system that does not allow parties of more than 2 to sit together in the coach except for the first day. This needs to be changed so that families can remain together for all days of the trip. 2. Many days started with needing to be on the coach before 8:00 AM. This was expected to be a vacation where there was some time to relax but the pace was very fast. 3. Stops for lunch, bathroom, etc. were not long enough. There were 47 people on the tour and it often took 30 minutes just to get through the restrooms. The length of stops needs to take into consideration the number of available bathroom stalls. 4. Early morning stops often were made before shops etc. in the area were open but the tour director still talked about the amazing shops that we could visit. Tour directors need to be aware of operating hours when suggesting businesses to visit at stops.

From the tour Director and drive our tour went smoothly and pleasant all the way. We visited some very pretty sites. The hotels and food choices were also great. This was a very nice holiday and I recommend it to anyone that wants to sit back and enjoy. Everything is done for you so the only thing for you to do is have a great time. Our tour director was awesome and made our tour so nice and pleasant. The choices of places we visited was very good and we visited some stunning sites. Our accommodation and food was also very good. Our driver was lovely too and helpful. I would recommend this tour to my family and friend. Thanks for helping create such great memories.

Excellent. Only wish we all of us on the coach could have had name tags. The itinerary was wonderful. Sights we visited were awesome and we learned so much about all these sights and learned lots of historical information about Australia. Our guide *Personal information removed by Feefo* was very thorough! Kangaroo Island was cool and the visit to the Hansen Sanctuary made one realize how devastating the past years fires had really been and how many Koala's had died.

My second trip with Trafalgar. I like their communication channels and how they keep me updated. They cross check my flight dates and times with their dates to confirm with me. I like that alot. It assures me that they are not just taking in what I had input. I will continue to travel with them. It was a wonderful trip. Guide *Personal information removed by Feefo* was knowledgeable and friendly. She was always with a smile and helping hand. Driver *Personal information removed by Feefo* was skillful and careful. The journey took us to places which I would not have discovered if I had been travelling on my own. I would definitely recommend this itinerary for anyone who want to discover The Great Ocean Road and Kangaroo Island.
