The first 4 nights.of accommodations (2 nights in PV and 2 nights.in Guadalajara) were not acceptable. The 2 nights, especially in Guadalajara, consisted of a wall between 2 bathrooms that did not connect to a ceiling, but rather an open ceiling to the adjouning bathroom with no privacy. Both locations started us out with 4 nights of no sleep.

Our guide Mane was the nicest man and very supportive to all the people in the group. We all enjoyed ourselves and his expertise and experiences he shared were great. His knowledge of the local restaurants made it easy.

I have always rated G Adventures trip in the past much higher, but this was the least satisfactory trip I have had with G. Hotels: Puerto Vallarta hotel was acceptable as the bed, ac and shower worked. That is about all that can be said about it. Guadalajara: Had to ask for towels, no hot water, could hear toilet flushing in the next room, loud snoring night manager Guanajuato: Finally a nice hotel, but stay was just one night Guanajuato We had hot water, a ceiling fan and a real feel balcony. San Miguel hotel was fine as were Mexico City and Oaxaca except I believe the maid took $110US dollars from the room and we are wondering if there were bedbugs in Oaxaca. We have bites that are otherwise inexplicable Transportation: Van from PVR to Guadlaraja was too small. Barely enough seats and not enough for luggage. Several passengers were periodically bombarded by luggage. Had to step over and around more luggage to get on and off the van. Insufficient leg room as well To Guanajuato and San Miguel de Allended We traveled by public bus but it was first class & better than our last hotel? We had to transfer from bus station to hotel via 4-5 taxis as opposed to a van large enough for all of us. Always a bit of a hassle or adventure Transportation remains an issue from Mexico City to Puebla we had private transportation at the van was too small once again for the number of passengers, there was a few extra seats, but the legroom was totally insufficient today I went to Cholula in a different van and there was legroom, but one seat was broken and three people didn't even go with us. The same van was used for 5 to 6 hours tomorrow trip to Oaxaca. My wife snagged 2o the good seats after sitting on the back bumpy wheel in previous days will be trying. It had more legroom in the good seats only because the van had fewer seats so very cramped The tequila tour was excellent. The guide was extremely knowledgeable and everyone thought that testing was good so that part was number one First archeological site was fantastic as was local guide. Tlaquepaque was not special for food or shopping A lot of trinkets and then some high value stuff in stores Dinner sucked.

Our CEO Beatriz Olivera was wonderful. We got to visit a range of cities with interesting activities. It was a small group size (12-14 people). We stayed at a couple of sub-par hotels in Puerto Vallarta and Guadalajara. I would have like to have visited/stayed in at least one smaller town to get a better flavour of the country and people.
